Kith

Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Kith at https://getkith.tech, including the installable app and the iPhone Shortcut ("Kith"). Kith is offered by Yannick Morgan, Giebeleich 2, 8058 Zürich ("we"). You can reach us at yeigensatz@gmail.com. By creating an account you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. What Kith is

Kith helps you keep track of the people in your life: contacts, notes, conversations, birthdays and reminders to stay in touch. It is meant for your own personal relationships, not for marketing, sales prospecting or collecting data about people for others.

2. Beta

Kith is in beta. It is free while in beta. Features may change, be added or be removed, and there may be interruptions or mistakes. If Kith ever becomes a paid service, we will tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.

3. Your account

4. Your content

What you put into Kith stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, process and show it to you so Kith can work, including through the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy. You can export everything and delete your account at any time in Settings.

You are responsible for the information you keep about other people. Only store what you are allowed to keep under the data protection law that applies to you, and treat it with care.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't:

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, after telling you where that is reasonable.

6. Connections and AI

If you connect Google, iCloud, an email account, calendars or an AI provider, their own terms also apply. Kith only reads what you allow and never writes to these accounts. AI answers and drafts can be wrong: check them before you rely on them or send them.

7. Availability and backups

We work to keep Kith available and your data safe, but we cannot promise that Kith will always be available or free of errors. Please export your data from time to time (Settings → Your data).

8. Liability

Kith is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost data or lost profits, and our liability is limited to intentional acts and gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending

You can stop using Kith and delete your account at any time. We may end the service, in which case we will tell you at least 30 days in advance so you can export your data.

10. Changes

We may update these terms when Kith changes. For important changes we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Kith afterwards, the new terms apply.

11. Law and place of jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered place of residence or business, unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live.
